Giving Back, Giving Thanks- A Thanksgiving Message from Scratch Dough Co.

As Thanksgiving approaches, our oven is full- but our hearts are fuller. This season is all about sharing gratitude, and what we have with others. In our family, we treasure quality time, good health and the neighbors who have become friends. We are also grateful for this community that is rising together- and fresh, homemade sourdough goodies, of course!

We’ve always believed that bread tastes best when it’s ‘broken’ with our neighbors. That’s why this Thanksgiving, we’re donating one loaf for every item ordered to our local food banks from now through November 15th, 2025. Your favorite loaves, muffins and scones can help provide warm meals to neighbors in need, tangibly and/or financially.

Every starter has to be nurtured to grow- and our community is no different. When you pick up your orders this holiday, you’re helping ensure more families can gather around a table this Thanksgiving.

How You Can Help

• ORDER your loaves early- our family micro bakery will be CLOSED Nov 15- Dec 3

• SPREAD the word by sharing this message or tagging others on our Instagram or NextDoor social pages

• CONSIDER adding an extra loaf to your order to be donated directly to nearby food programs
